Streaming Audio Setup

The secret to a professional faceless GTA RP stream isn't just the gameplay—it's the audio. Beginners often struggle with balanced sound, but this guide will ensure your voice is crisp and your game audio never drowns out the RP action. Let’s get your audio lab-ready.

01. Mic Setup

Position your mic 4-6 inches from your mouth. In OBS, apply a Noise Gate to kill background hum and a Compressor to prevent peaking when you start shouting during a high-speed pursuit.

02. Discord & In-Game Audio

Separate your audio tracks. Keep game volume at -20dB and Discord at -15dB. This ensures the audience can hear you clearly while still feeling the immersion of Los Santos traffic and siren sounds.

03. Test Your Sound

Record a 30-second test clip in OBS while playing. Listen back on secondary headphones to ensure your voice is the focal point. Motivation check: great audio is 70% of the viewer experience—get this right!
